I really appreciate the comments Jim! Great music from you too! It’s been years since I’ve been through Ballground, but I always loved the name. I passed through there on my way back and forth to Young Harris when I was in college. It’s sad to me that parts of the mountains, over the last twenty years, seem to be trying to keep up with Atlanta…I miss the whole charm of the region. But it’s still great, if you know where to look!
Great site…great shingle house shot. There’s another great one in Ballground, Georgia. I’ve taken a dozen or so shots of it. Amazing structure. Ir’s rumored to be a former trading post.
