
The corner building was originally known as the Arrington Drug Company and was later occupied by the Jackson Drug Company. A historic hardware store is located beside it.

Brian have you been to Cloudland, GA on Lookout Mountain about 15 or 20 miles west of Summerville? It was developed as a planned resort community in the 20’s with many surviving clay and lime clinked true log houses put up at that time. They range from fully restored to pretty much abandoned, but they are all interesting.
You found my hometown! The restoration of the old family house, with its oldest section dating to the late 1800s, is underway.
