Cutoff denim shorts were a common sight on the beach at the time.
The lake was always popular, but when features like the Slippery Dip waterslide (below) were added, the park took on a new dimension of popularity.

Wished it was still opened it would be great again jst put cement all the way around it put a well in the center with fence around it and filters like a giant swimming pool and fix the slides and water rides with brand new water rides and then charge what wild adventure s charges and wala money to be made there loved it so much as a child would love to pass with my children
