Quitman Elementary School

The old Quitman Elementary School was designed by noted Valdosta architect Lloyd Greer. It was last used as the alternative school.

Thank to Chuck Ramsey for the identification and background.

My dad went to this school. If I remember correctly, it was an elementary school, when he attended. This would have been in the late 50’s/60’s. My grandparents lived on West Gordon then, which was a short walk for my dad and his sisters to go to school.
