My dad grew up with Joyce and Alfred who used to own it and we would come to Cadwell 2 or 3 times a year to stay at there house great quiet area to get away from the crowded area we are from
I used to live in this town. I remember how this place had great food, especially the potato wedges and the jalapeno poppers. Shame it closed down.
I remember going here for dip ice cream and fried chicken when I was a kid. It’s just a few miles from my house and has recently re-opened. This reminded me I need to stop in!
Red Top is at the intersection of GA 117 and GA 338 just northeast of Cadwell. (Five Points is about four miles to the east-southeast.) This little community is known as “Mullistown” and actually predates the establishment of Cadwell. By the way, after several years having been closed, Red Top has been sold and I am told it will be reopening this fall. Thanks for bringing back this memory…I grew up less than a mile away from where this picture was taken.
Thanks, Ken!
This building is located at the edge of Cadwell going towards Rentz, I believe.
