I’m grateful to Hoyt Dorminey for pointing out this old church during our recent visit to Doles. I’ve been to the community a number of times and have missed it every time.

The two old country stores in Doles, across the road from each other and operated by two Tison brothers, are rural landmarks that somehow seem to hang on. I’m always glad to find them still standing.
