This marina, located off Georgia Highway 99 just north of Ridgeville was known for years as Blue & Hall’s Marina. The road here leading to the North River is known as Blue-n-Hall Road. Missy Brandt notes that this area was the site of a skirmish between Union and Confederate troops in 1862.
It was also the site of a skirmish during the Civil War between local and federal troops in 1862.
