Georgia State Line Highway Marker, Fort Gaines

This granite marker on the Highway 37 bridge was likely placed in the 1920s or 1930s.

    Thank you so much for this photo of the ga state lline. my high school (speighthigh)is off hwy 37 I haven’t been to ft Gaines in 40yrs so I’m enjoying  and saving all photos I lived in days crossroads between ftgaines& pataulacreek. you have no idea how happy you’ve. made me ,this is a lifetime of memories.

    Thanks for the posts of FT Gaines ! I was born in Cuthbert but we lived in Clay county in the Cotton Hill community , move to Mobile Al in 1952! B
