This commercial block is an important survivor of Stapleton’s past. The storefronts appear to be in relatively good condition and have been in use in recent years.

Old Post Office, Stapleton
For many years, this served as Stapleton’s post office. I believe there was a store here, as well, and later, a funeral home.
