Eady’s Fish Market, McRae

South Georgians love their seafood and most small towns have at least one fishmonger. It’s a hard business to maintain away from the coast, though.

I like your site BUT am disappointed that there is not a picture of the Old South Georgia College building. IT is on the national register of historic landmarks and sits up on a hill in McRae. While the building has been sitting idle for many years, currently the Pioneer Arts and Historical Society is working on renovating it a little at a time. We have scheduled an event to be held in the wonderful auditorium on March 20th and hope to have many more. I have a new blog and am just beginning to blog about what we are doing in the building.

    Good luck with your site.
