There was a smaller store across the road from this one. I believe it was once owned by the Snider family. My dad was given the store a couple of years ago and moved it to his property to save it from being torn down. He is in the process of restoring it to use as a small museum for some of his antique farm equipment. My wife and a local artist recently repainted the Coca-Cola mural on the side of the building. I have some pictures if you are interested. Keep up the great work preserving our past. I really enjoy your site.
This building is now collapsing and its pretty much “gone”.
