Dirt roads have been particularly wet and muddy this winter, as the rainy trend which began last summer has continued. Blue skies and clear days have been a rare commodity, as well, so I thought I’d show you what our beautiful landscape looks like just after sunset.

This is gorgeous, I really hope to move to south Geogia when I’m older (Still in school). I live in suburban Atlanta, so I never get to see places like this in real life, what with how much Atlanta has sprawled out of control. 🙁 But I’m hopeful to live in the real Georgia someday! 🙂
This is so beautiful, I love sunsets.
Thanks, Gail. I’m partial to them, as well 🙂
Evokes beautiful memories. Thank you. 🙂
Where in Wilcox County is Copperhead Road? I grew up in Abbeville and graduated from high school in Rochelle.
Linda, it’s off Highway 90 a couple or so miles past the Ben Hill County line. It’s the road that goes all the way from 90 back to Owensboro. The “gourd man” was on the other end of Copperhead near Owensboro. I call him the gourd man because my father recalls having bought gourds from him there years ago. His last name may have been Brown, but I’m not quite sure…hope this helps!
