Surprisingly Google Street View from 2023 shows the house is still standing! It’s crazy how well older structures hold up
Hi Brian, Got your point on decaying house, still I’m always amazed at the integrity of these old buildings construction. Maybe the materials then or maybe the craftsmanship. Just a thought. Great work.
Shame it won’t be. Did you by chance photograph the interior? Would be so interesting to see what it looks like inside–as compared to what it was. I can just imagine sleeping lofts in this old house. I know there had to be a lot of love and laughter. Just wish I could know the folks who lived there–at least for a time.
I wasn’t able to get close enough to this one to shoot the interior. I wish I had, but it was completely surrounded by briars and other undergrowth.
