Since the sign was removed, I assumed this church was abandoned, but Jeresa Ellison writes that it was being restored at the time. Her father, Emmanuel Ellison is the pastor.

Hi Brian, Great photos. It is hard to understand how what appears to be a fairly good structure would stand empty this long(er). If another church group doesn’t want, you would think that it could be redone over into a house, store, something. I guess I just hate to see old buildings allowed to go to waste. Sad.
