Vada is in the middle of a busy agricultural area. I don’t know if these barns were part of a farm or an agribusiness concern.

Actually, this shed is a few yards from the Mitchell county line and is over in Decatur county. I have so many memories from growing up in Vada. I am happy to be back and living on my grandfather Elijah Burnum’s homestead just a 1/2 mile from the storage shed.
My father bought and purchased the property with the storage shed and the old theater on it and I live in the house on the property now. Awesome to see Vada on the map.
Thanks for the information Eric. He does a great job of maintaining those places! I have a friend in Vada, Leisa Jones, who told me those were among the earliest buildings ever built there.
