This oversized fiberglass advertising figure always gets my attention. I’ve found older images online that suggest that this was once a muffler shop, and that the figure was called the Muffler Man. The building is now known as God’s Marketplace, a non-denominational faith-based service center.
Oh come now… Surely you recognize Paul Bunyan, even though someone stole his axe.
This was a muffler shop or parts shop. My friend actually worked there in late 60’s early 70’s.
