Sumner Farmhouse, Wheeler County

Helen Jones writes: This is my grandmother’s house. The room in the back is the dining room. There used to be a side porch in the middle connecting the dining room to the front hall way. My Grandmother had it closed in to become a bathroom & Flordi room as she called it. A Florida room. This was done about the mid 60’s. The kitchen is on the other side of house. House & land still in family. Built before 1909.

    Greetings
    Thanks
I lived in a Log HOUSE south of Alamo, the kitchen was detached & had a private Cementary.
The land owners kids tore the house down, probably plowed over the Cementary dating back to 1700s
