My grandparents, Clara and Hubert Irving owned a gas station near the old post office on the corner. My uncle ZT Irving also owned a gas station there, at one time! Wasn’t the hotel previously a Chenille bedspread factory? I had a great childhood there. My mother grew up in the big Addington home there!
