This school was probably built in the 1950s.
1962 We moved back here from Texas when I was in the first grade. I attended Workmore for seven years. We had the absolutely best teachers.

Mrs. Dobson would read to us when we finished our classwork. Books such as Charlotte’s Web. Tom Sawyer. Huck Finn. The Little House on the Prairie series. Books by Ralph Moody “Little Britches”.

We moved back from Texas in 62 also. I was only 6 months at that time….I started therein 67 with Miss Wilcox (K), Sellers (1), Hensley (2), Williams (3), Vaughn (4), Cook (5) and several middle school teachers
I spent my first four years at this school.
Omie I remember stories how Daddy played basketball ball and I remember I went in the 8th grade there
