Prospect Church, Circa 1902, Texas

I believe this was originally a Methodist Church. It’s the only public building I was able to find in the crossroads community of Texas.

Yes, it was a United Methodist Church, and I was the last United Methodist clergy to serve under appointment there. It was officially closed by the North Georiga Conference of the United Methodist Church at the 2007 Annual Conference. It was closed because the congregation no longer wished to be United Methodist. The congregation purchased the property shortly after its closure. I only served one year there. It was my first appointment.
