When I was a teenager, the Datsun 280-Z was a really popular sports car. I don’t think Nissan even made them under the Datsun name in the 1980s but there were still a lot on the road and they were a bit of a status symbol for a certain set of kids. I don’t see many anymore and just thought I’d share this one from the archives.
I remember this one well. A former boss’s high school-age daughter had one. She thought she was the cat’s meow, driving it to and from her private high school. Unfortunately, she got into a wreck with it at some point. I don’t know what happened to it after that.

Oh Brian, you are so young. The original car was a 240Z. There was a Datsun sportscar before that which, I believe was the 1600 (much more traditional body style. )
