I’ve driven down this majestic canopy road many times, and having explored much of Tattnall County, would suggest that it is perhaps its most scenic route. I haven’t been out this way in a while and hope it wasn’t damaged when Hurricane Helene passed through the area.

Absolutely beautiful. I thank the Lord for the besuty of His creation, and that so much of my family settled in southeast Georgia so long ago.
What roads connect to Oak Hill Road Tattnall County GA. I grew up there and have no idea where this is located.
Thanks
Cleveland Burkhalter.
Off Hencart Road in the Birdford area.
I also have some family in southeast Georgia (Brunswick/Golden Isles area mostly, great grandparent was raised in Homerville and their sibling lived in Blackshear), but unfortunately my grandparents migrated to the Atlanta suburbs, where they raised my dad, and where I’m being raised right now. 🙁 It’s always such a nice treat when we pass through rural Georgia though, and I hope to move to south Georgia when I’m older! 😀
Brian, thanks for sharing this. I grew up in Glennville but never drove down this road. Need to het back to check it out!
Look at that red Georgia clay!
