This simple Georgian cottage is enhanced by a Craftsman-inspired front porch. Property records date it to circa 1940, but I believe it was built earlier.

I agree. This place could be very beautiful!
I ride by this house twice a day on my way to work in Claxton. I always wonder why someone doesn’t fix it up. I know that it’s been unoccupied since 2019 if not longer than that. In the spring daffodils bloom in the yard. A nice house in its day.
