Sam Walker House, Irwin County

This Queen Anne landmark was built by “Red” Sam Walker between 1890-1900. Thanks to my friend Christy Walker Brumfield for the identification.

I don’t know. The family trees that I have seen doesn’t get that specific. The tree that I have shows my great grandfather and before. But heck each decendant had 5-13 offspring, so chances are, you are related somewhere down the road.

I am of distant relation of George Washington Walker born 1814. It is nice to see pictures of old family treasures. Get with me, and we can go over the family tree.

Thanks, Kevin; I have several friends in the Walker family and I’m sure they’d especially like to know more of the family history, if they don’t already.

Sorry that it has been so long since last reply. I would really like to get in touch with your Walker friends to discuss the probable relation.
