Dr. Ellerbee’s Office, Daisy

A small white building with the words 'DAISY, GEORGIA' displayed on the front, flanked by two doors, with a landscaped lawn and trees in the background.

Though it’s generally referred to as the “Daisy Courthouse”, Linda Smith writes that this was originally the medical office of Dr. George W. Ellerbee. Courthouse is a term used in some communities for precinct houses, where voting and other official functions take place, but considering the historical context of the building, I have chosen to identify it by its first use.
