
Though it’s generally referred to as the “Daisy Courthouse”, Linda Smith writes that this was originally the medical office of Dr. George W. Ellerbee. Courthouse is a term used in some communities for precinct houses, where voting and other official functions take place, but considering the historical context of the building, I have chosen to identify it by its first use.
