Thanks to Sharmon Brannen for the identification. It’s not all visible to the eye, but much restoration work has been done on the house by the new owners. I’m so glad that they’re saving this house. It’s though to date to at least the late 1880s.

This was my Grandmother Huggins home. Spent many weekends there growing up. Lucille Kennedy Huggins was her name and was married to John Robert Huggins.
I recently purchased the residence that you have listed as Vernacular Architecture in Oliver. Does anyone have in historical information on this house.
This was the Huggins house. I grew up in Oliver. What kind of information are you looking for? I have been told you did an amazing job at restoring this beauty!
Thanks, Sharmon. I’ll add that information to the title.
Hi Sharmon, my name is Lee Huggins. My 5x great grandfather was Solomon Lewis Huggins. Can you share any history on this Huggins House?
