This was the Masonic lodge for the Howell community for many years. I believe it may have also been a commissary.

This building served as being run by several different families down stairs and the upstairs was used by the Masons as their lodge. When this lodge was closed , the remaing members went to Statenville Lodge.
It is a beautiful old building.I drive by it everyday. Would love to restore it into a Bed & breakfast.
