Moorman-Walker House, 1906, Upton

This large Queen Anne house is the last remaining landmark of the Upton community. Slade Bacon writes: Dr. Moorman had it built and his family lived there until ’the 1940s when my grandfather, O.O. Walker purchased it. My mother, Mr. Walker’s daughter, still lives there. It has heart pine floors and beaded board walls.

I absolutely love your mama’s house!! She has lots of stories to tell about it and the area around it. I’m so glad she has been able to keep it up the way she has. You don’t see them like that anymore.
