Jacksonville Landing, Ocmulgee River

The landing here at the Jacksonville Bridge has been recently closed. I made these shots when the river was exceptionally low. The wood pilings from the old bridge are visible.

When I was a 11 year old child 1981. We used to go to this place under a bridge and when you drove up to it it was a tall shelter with no walls but had tables under it. And it had a metal pole sticking up out of the ground about 2 foot and was always running cold water. It also had a boat ramp and it had a drop off to the river a few yards from the shelter.I can remember it so clear in my mind and i was wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone and if so Is this the spot in Jacksonville Ga?

I wonder if it could have been the Ben Hill/ Fitzgerald Landing? It had a shelter and an artesian well next to the boat ramp. No bridge though.
