This farmhouse was recently exposed after a clear cut. Many structures like this remain hidden deep in the pine forests of South Georgia, but most get razed once they’re revealed.

This is very cool! I remember a time I saw an abandoned house revealed from clear cutting in Talbot County. It was a large type of house, not the kind you usually see abandoned. I wanted to stop and photograph it, but I kept putting it off for some stupid reason. Then the next time I drove by, it had been burned to the ground. Such a lost opportunity.
