The Ed Spell family lived in a house on West Elm across from their dry cleaners. Dr. Dodd’s office sat beside it. The old house above resembles the design. The house was white with a wide front porch with a long open hall leading to a kitchen. I lived there until I was five years old. I have been informed by a former city official that the house was moved to Hwy 57 and the first Dairy Queen was built on the lot. I would like to find the house to see if it can be restored. Any information would be deeply appreciated. Ed Spell was my grandfather and Mary Edna Spell was my mother.
