Dear Brian,
I enjoyed a look at the Toombs county area today bringing back many fond memories. We lived in Lyons in the early 70’s while my husband worked on the construction of Plant Hatch and I remember many of the sites you photographed. I vividly remember walking out my door one morning and smelling the pungent odor of onions! Little did I know it was the beginning of the Vidalia Onion craze! I love old buildings and so appreciate your blog!

Wow, what an amazing place. Such history. Makes me want to pull up stakes and move there. Find a nice peaceful farm rebuild it and retire. Love it.
