The fog added a mystical atmosphere to the shots I got of this farmhouse yesterday morning. It’s one of my favorites and I photograph it often.

Betty Courson writes: This house was bought by my Grandfather George F. Asberry Williamsom, son of the late Asberry Williamson. Grandaddy bought it in 1941 from a lady by the name of Mrs. Parsons, along with this home came some acreage of land. He and Granny lived there along with some of the kids until 1943 when the big house was completed. Years later several of their children and Grandchildren lived in the house. I grew up a short distance from this house.

Beautiful capture in the fog by the way!
I was just there two weeks ago. The home was also lived in at one point by the Hogan’s. I think that Mrs. Hogan may have been a granddaughter of the original Williamson family.
Love these Fitgerald shots. Got any out Preston drive beyond the RR shops? That’s where I grew up. I was a Seabrooke. Alas, our old house is gone.

I don’t have anything significant from out there, Billie. I wish I did. I think the old farmhouse is about all that’s left out there…
