Aubrey Haymons House, Telfair County

This was recently exposed by a clear-cut. It’s located between Jacksonville & Lumber City. It was razed in early 2014.

Royce Neal writes: “This is the Aubrey Haymons (1915-1995) house which he restored. He bought the house from Lonnie Powell and moved it to this location in the mid 1960’s. It was originally on the south side of the River Road facing the Fishing Creek Church Road.

Did you notice the front door. I drive by there 3 days a week for work. I having been thinking about stopping and taking a pic of the house and a close up of the door.
