Indeed Brian. When I was a kid I had a great aunt who dipped. Everywhere she went (and I mean everywhere…restaurants, church and even to see her doctor), she took her little green cut glass “spit’ vase tucked in her purse. This is at least one old-time tradition I am happy to see dying out!
Come to think of it, I suspect the demand in Ideal is from the teen males rather than the older ladies. A “new” tradition which I hope soon goes away too.
