You should come back and see us in Rhine sometime. A lot has been done to revitalize the town and many of the historic buildings down town have been restored and are in use. We now have a Physical Therapy office, an urgent care, and Rhine drugs now encompasses 3 more adjoining buildings besides the bank. Carter Clements is the third generation pharmacist that owns it and most of the other down town buildings. He also owns the old Mizell Hotel and the Methodist church.

Update on my father william Luther sheffield whos father was Homer Sheffield He was a farmer that had cotton fields in Rhine Georgia who was married to Mrs Olga Knight who she divorced my Granfather six years after haveing my Daddy william Luther who was left At School when he was in second grade Who his teacher Mrs Zesta Hillard and her Husband Tal then raised him as there own after his daddy never came back for him at school which saddens me As he grew into his man hood he joined the navy at 15 years old then at the age 25 got married to alice frances sheffield and who had 6 children one dieing at birth he had a fruitful life loved his children more then life itsself giveing favorsisem to his baby Roberta lyn sheffield who searches everyday for kin she thinks she has in Eastman georgia and Rhine Georgia and with the good lords help i know i will meet them someday Thank you for hearing my story if you are kin please contact me colt45sheffield@gmail.com
