Anyone from Atkinson County knows this was “the place” to eat and get the latest “street news” over several decades (including the old location on Hwy 441 North). As a youngster in the 80s, I remember going with my dad or mom and thinking it was a place out of the movies. “Miss Wilma” was a legend in our town. She passed away in November 2012, just 2 weeks shy of her 100th birthday. She worked in the restaurant well into her 90s.
