Kathryn, it’s been a long time so I don’t know if you’ll ever come back and read this, but the school was bought sometime within the past 2 years. A friend of mine and his family bought it and have been slowly fixing it up.
It was actually in fairly good condition. Was a Shriners Lodge for a while at some point and they took decent care of the old building.
That is great! Good for your friends.
We were in the market for a big place and this is so pretty on the outside. Stayed in FL, though.

Do you know what they plan to do once it’s fixed up? Pass this property all the time and it always peaks my curiosity!
Our plan is to live in it, my parents bought it. Still avoid bit of fixing up to do, but it should make for a great house.
We’ve been trying to find more info on the sale, including the interior condition of the school. The outside looks great! Please advise.

Great job you are doing. Hope to visit this winter.
Also, it was built in 1930, not 1950.
