This is one of the largest barns of this type, which is a very uncommon style in the region, that I’ve found in South Georgia. It’s located near Cedar Grove Methodist Church. Burt Reynolds filmed a scene of The Longest Yard at this barn.

I saw this type of barn in Indiana when I was traveling for work. Definitely big barns.
Beautiful time of the year. My heart leaps. I’ve heard the saying, “Georgia is God’s country.” Recently traveled across country via RV to Sierra Vista, AZ. Now I know without a doubt no similarity in the 2 states.
