The old Clermont Hotel has been renovated and is operated as a bed and breakfast inn and event venue by Phyllis Henson and Robin Collinson. They note that it also served as a department store and the Clermont post office at one time.

Hey Brian. I was just surfing and discovered these Hall County pictures. I somehow missed them back in February. I grew up in Hall County and have great memories of both Clermont and Lula. One childhood memory is of a store that was in either Clermont or Lula back in the 50’s. It had a great sign on the side of the building with the name…”I. P. Rainwater Grocery”!
