Just a photo opportunity heads up, there’s an old roadside store in the Glades area off the side of Lexington-Carlton Rd at Glade Rd. that I haven’t noticed on your site.
It’s between Sandy Cross and Carlton
There’s a sign on the outside reading “R.E. Snellings”
Also, my daughter, son-in-law (and my mother) just bought an old (1900) home at the nearby Turner Hill Rd at the sharp curve in the road, they’re both graduates of U of Georgia’s historic preservation masters program. They’re in the beginning stages of restoration of their home.
