I can’t help but wonder if all the Carter’s Fried Chicken restaurants in South Georgia weren’t ‘franchised’ or owned by the Carter family that owned the one in Fitzgerald Georgia. Anybody that could provide more info would be appreciated.
The one in Moultrie and Bainbridge was owned by his son??? I can’t remember his name. So it originated in Douglas,not Moultrie.

They are definitely owned by the Carters family. Only not sure which ones own which. My son’s cousins own the 2 in Douglas. I think they are both owned by 2 different Carters, though in the same family.

Have seen CFC across S GA since the mid to early 70s. Stopped for the first time year before last in Cordele. Amazing menu. Good chicken.
