Christmas in Fitzgerald, 2020

One of my favorite childhood Christmas memories is riding around and looking at all the lights with my grandmothers. It’s still a tradition with my mother and me. Here are some highlights from my hometown.

Loved the pictures.  Monroe and I ride around every year.  We really missed the one that had lights that played to the music on the radio.  But this year was especially wonderful!

Thank you for sharing pictures of my favorite town. Will someday be my final resting place.

    Good morning-

I’ve been receiving your pics for a couple of years now and enjoying them very much. I’m from a small town about 40 miles west of Albany (pronounced All-Benny by locals- Albany is in Neew Yowuk). The reason for my correspondence is I have an old friend, Carlton Fletcher, who is a linch pin at the Albany Herald. Carlton is from Fitzgerald, and I just wondered if you know him?

Thanks, and I hope you had a very Merry Christmas
