This is thought to be the oldest surviving wood frame church building in the city of Fitzgerald. After many years of neglect, it is very endangered.
Update: As of 2022, this church has been demolished.

I love to see our history in photos. I am looking for a picture of an old property in Tift County that no longer exists. It was on the southwest corner of 8th Street and Central Avenue N. My grandfather lived in the White House there. There was also a 2 story apartment building. My father’s photo was destroyed. I would appreciate any help in finding a photo.
