Though the central gable gives this home a Gothic Revival feel, I believe it’s actually an “eclectic” Queen Anne. Knowing the date of construction would be definitive; the line between Queen Anne and Carpenter Gothic can be confusing. Whatever its “style”, it’s one of my favorite houses in Thomaston.

I know where the Weaver Dallas home is located. Where is the Queen Anne Cottage located. My grandparents home is similar in style. The present owner is allowing it to fall in disrepair. It is located on Spring Creek here in Thomaton.

That house is at 419 South Green street. I grew up on Howell street and could see it from our front yard.
At one time it belonged to the McDaniel family; Charles McDaniel of Ingram McDaniel & Associates was their son. He just recently passed away.
Thanks for posting, I was wondering.
