This was a crossroads store at one time, I believe. It’s one of just a few rural resources of this type remaining in Forsyth County, the fastest growing in Georgia over the past decade.

I just found out about this store. I hope it is being saved as historical treasures in Forsyth County seem to be slim. It is so much easier to just get rid of old/history sometimes. I hope someone with the funding can restore it. Would love to know where to go for updates.
It has been restored and is currently up for sale.
That store is on the corner of Jot Em Down road and Keith Bridge road if you’re wondering. It is near Chestatee elementary school and further down Jot Em Down is East Forsyth high school. I passed by the store on the way back from school and it looked like they are saving it. Several trucks of supplies were parked and people were working on the roof.
Update: A new roof has been added and the side portion has been removed.
Love these old, almost forgotten, pictures of buildings, churches and homes.
