Victorian Farmhouse, Screven County

This Queen Anne landmark is in a state of restoration. but is still a nice rural example of the form.

I love this house. I use to visit friends there in the 1970’s. It was in much better shape then and sadly has deteriorated over the years. The layout of the house was unique for the time period it was built. It was spacious with quality architectural details and it had a cellar which is unheard of in this area. Would love to see this house restored. It’s very distressing to see it like this

I have been an avid follower of you for years. I lived in Washington County for several years and fell in love with rural Georgia. I have tried to post numerous times but have always been unsuccessful.
