I photographed this shotgun-style general store in 2009. As of 2022, I believe it is still standing. A resource survey dates it to circa 1914.

This looks like a shotgun slave quarters turned into a “store.”
Most likely not as the shotgun style wasn’t common for slave dwellings.
That general store seems to be holding up well. Always good to see a photo from years ago. I can picture the folks going inside years ago to shop…..
