This has most recently been a Baptist church, and is presently a non-denominational congregation. I presume it’s one of the earliest churches in Statham, probably dating between 1892-1910. I’m still trying to track down its early history. I hope someone will know more about it and share.
This is a very simple, but stately, church building. Unusual, too, in that the front of the structure has a vertical design I don’t think I’ve seen before.
