This is the old Ashton polling place, which was salvaged and moved across the road from its original location. The section on the left was added onto the building and it is now used for storage by the present owners. Dale Parten writes: My great grandparents lived in [this building] before it was moved. My great granddaddy was the janitor at the school. His name was Walter Kinnett, married to Lucy Smith Kinnett. They also called him crocker sack!
